Dr. Chase Tamashiro is a board-qualified podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Tamashiro was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He first moved to Southern California to earn his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Chapman University. He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his three-year surgical residency at the Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey, a large program covering four hospitals and seven surgery centers.
Dr. Tamashiro has an extensive surgical training background in trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, sports medicine, ankle arthroscopy, biomechanics, rearfoot and forefoot reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. He has completed surgical skills training courses in internal fixation, as well as ankle and foot arthroscopy. He is an associate of the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Tamashiro is committed to providing the best conservative and surgical treatment options, specific to the needs of each patient. As a former collegiate athlete, he understands the importance of health and the effect proper treatment can have in your overall well-being. In his free time, Dr. Tamashiro likes to stay active by being outdoors, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, watching sports and playing the ukulele.
